Under the aegis of Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bihar, a program on “Amritkal ke Panch Prana” was organized. The program was chaired by Prof. Sanjay Srivastava, Vice-Chancellor. Former Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Radha Mohan Singh addressed everyone as the chief guest in the programme. MP, Radha Mohan Singh said that India is a leading country on the world stage for its knowledge, talent and tolerance. India, animated by knowledge, is known for its world-view. The educational institutions of India played an important role in this direction. Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bihar is the emerging university of India. Within a short span of time, this university has made a mark for itself in various fields. For this Shankhnaad, I send hearty congratulations to Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. Sanjay Srivastava, all administrative officers, respected teachers, colleagues and student-researcher friends. I hope that all of you will play your part in making India a prosperous, advanced nation. During the oath of “Amritkal ke Panch Prana” He said that we have to protect our natural morality. Along with the rights, one has to be aware of one’s duties as well.
Together we have to make India a “Jagatguru” by the year 2047 – Vice Chancellor
Giving the presidential address, Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sanjay Srivastava said that together we have to make India a “Jagatguru” by the year 2047. The concept of developed India is not only economic prosperity but also all round progress and development. India will not only become a golden bird again but will become a Jagatguru and guide the world. We are working with this concept and we will make this concept a reality.
“five vows of Amritkal” are related to India’s pride – Prof. Dutta
Welcoming everyone in the program, the chairman of the organizing committee and the dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Languages, Prof. Prasun Dutta Singh called upon the youth. Pro. Singh said that the “five vows of Amritkal” are related to India’s pride, self-realization and intact knowledge tradition. It is the responsibility of all of us to preserve the glorious tradition.
