Under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Anand Prakash, Mahatma Gandhi Central University organized a special lecture on G20 Summit.
The presidency of G-20 will not only strengthen India’s global image, but also for global mediation on issues between developed and developing countries – Keynote Speaker
Program coordinator Dr. Aslam Khan said that the presidency of G-20 will not only provide India a platform for global dialogue, but will also establish India’s mantra of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam on the global stage. As a special speaker, eminent scholar of international affairs of the country, cum senior professor of JNU New Delhi, Prof. Arvind said that the presidency of G-20 will not only strengthen India’s global image, but also for global mediation on issues between developed and developing countries. Will work to provide leadership to India as well as underline India’s global concerns and solutions on economic, strategic, diplomatic and environmental issues.
In the address, Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Anand Prakash Underline the ideological relevance of Gandhi, stressed the need for India to reflect on the G-20 topics from Gandhi’s philosophy. Also described this historical moment as a golden opportunity to increase India’s global importance.
The guests who attended the program were welcomed by Prof. Sunil Mahawar, Head of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Dr. Yugal Kishore Dadhich, Head of Department of Gandhi and Peace Studies. Research scholars of the department, Birendra Gandhi, Rishabhdev Shukla, Jugnu Ara, Gunja Singh, Nilesh Anand, Ravi and teachers, researchers and students of other departments were present in the programme.
