The Department of Political Science, Mahatma Gandhi Central University held a meeting to finalize the preparations for the research methodology course to be held from 7 to 17 August 2023. This 10-day program is being organized by the Department of Political Science, Mahatma Gandhi Central University. The program is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), the nation’s premier organization in the field of social science research.
The meeting was Chaired by Professor Sunil Mahawar, Dean, Department of Social Sciences. Under the guidance of Dr. Sarita Tiwari, HoD, important instructions were given for the successful and smooth conduct of the research course. Addressing the meeting, Professor Mahawar said that this type of event will be a moment of pride for the university and the faculty, and this will encourage research in the university and this area. Mrs Tiwari congratulated the director of the program Dr. Narendra Kumar Arya and coordinator Dr. Narendra Singh for organizing such an important event in the university. Dr. Tiwari said that the department will try to organize similar events of national and international importance in the future.
A total of 30 participants will participate in this course
Course director Dr. Arya said that the research course will have participation of M.Phil., Ph.D. and post-doctoral research students selected from 35 universities of all the states and union territories of the nation. A total of 30 participants will participate in this course.
Inaugural session and three technical sessions will be organized on the first day of the course and four technical sessions each on all other days. Altogether 36 technical and three interactive sessions will be organized in this Research Methodology course.
Director of this Research Methodology course, Dr. Narendra Kumar Arya, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science and Co-ordinator Dr. Narendra Singh, Assistant Professor laid special emphasis on the successful operation of the trail by giving important guidelines to various researchers and students.
