Under the aegis of Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bihar, “Partition Vibhishika Memorial Day” was celebrated. The program was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Srivastava. Giving the presidential address, Prof. Srivastava said that the glorious history of India is human history that inspires everyone. Even after bearing the brunt of partition, the Indian people want to make a united India again by rejecting the Two Nation Theory. He said that it is the responsibility of the younger generation to remember the inspirational sources of their history. By learning from the past, let us take lessons from those mistakes and try to make the country stronger.

Any society survives only as long as it remembers its history

Chief guest Rana Randhir Singh (social thinker) in his statement made a proper review of the present in the light of society, history and nation building. Addressing the gathering, he said that “Any society survives only as long as it remembers its history. India is not divided by regional boundaries but by humanity and civilization. The younger generation should study the correct history and we Indians should write our own history Ourselves, Be your own hero.

Politics does not run in a straight line – Rakesh Upadhyay

keynote speaker Prof. Rakesh Upadhyay (Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi) said that politics does not run in a straight line. Indian politics is the politics of all coordination”.
The seeds of the basic conspiracies that the British conspired against India are still present today, but still India is one according to its nature. Because Indian stream is the stream of coordination. Freedom from mental slavery is necessary for all of us. We have to build India’s future with coordination, tolerance.

Distinguished speaker Dr. Harshvardhan Singh (National Secretary, Indian History Compilation Scheme) said that The generation that felt the bite of Partition is coming to an end. There is a need to remember the sacrifices made in the making of a united India. These sacrifices inspire us.
