On the occasion of the 75th foundation day of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, a seminar and discussion was organized by the ABVP MGCU unit at Deendayal Upadhyay Parisar. The topic of discussion was “Media and National Consciousness”.
The program commenced with wreaths and presided over by Prof. Shirish Mishra, President Faculty of Commerce and Management of the University. He said that ABVP is the world’s largest student organization and its contribution towards education and student welfare is incomparable. In the golden age of independence, this journey of nation reconstruction is becoming easier for the Vidyarthi Parishad. Further he said that the Vidyarthi Parishad and its workers have contributed in the interest of nation.

ABVP provides contribution in education, culture and self-reliance to the students

Chief Guest Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha said that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad provides contribution in education, culture and self-reliance to the students. Highlighting the importance of the Parishad’s motto Gyan Shil Ekta, he inspired the students to follow it. Chief speaker Dr. Saket Raman, Assistant Professor, Department of Media Studies, said that Vidyarthi Parishad’s contribution has been in the interest of the students as well as in the development of the personality of the students. Student Council works to inculcate the spirit of nationalism within the students studying in colleges and universities.

ABVP has various dimensions through which students can prepare themselves for employment

As a speaker, Assistant Professor of Media Studies Department, Dr. Parmatma Kumar Mishra said that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad also makes its important contribution for the skill development of the students. ABVP has various dimensions through which students can prepare themselves for employment. At the same time, when the people working in the field of media have a sense of patriotism, then they will work for the development of the society and the nation. While giving the welcome address, Dr. Sunil Ghodke, Assistant Professor, Department of Media Studies, kept their experiences of his council among the students and inspired them to sacrifice themselves in nation building.

During this, Abhimanyu Kumar, Department Organization Minister, ABVP, guided the students and explained the contribution of the Council in the development of society and students. University unit vice president Ashish Kumar managed the satge while vote of thanks was done by Sonu Kumar Singh, ABVP East Champaran district convenor. Champaran Department Co-Convenor Rishabh Raj, University Unit Minister Aman Kumar, Lucky Kumar, Head of Student for Service Vivek Kumar, Roshan Kumar and other workers were also present to make this event successful.
