The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is gearing up to host the FICCI Homeland Security Conference 2023 on September 15, 2023, at FICCI House in New Delhi. The event aims to serve as a platform for in-depth discussions and research on the latest advancements in internal security and policing strategies.

During the inaugural session, FICCI will honor the significant contributions of state police departments, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and Central Police Organizations (CPOs) with the prestigious FICCI Smart Policing Awards. These awards will recognize excellence in the fields of homeland security and law enforcement.

Mr. Prakash Singh, former Director-General of the Border Security Force (BSF) and former Police Chief of Uttar Pradesh and Assam will be the keynote speakers. The session will also feature a speech by Dr. Arvind Gupta, Director of the Vivekananda International Foundation and former Deputy National Security Advisor to the Government of India.

The conference will continue with four practical sessions

1: “Utilizing AI, ML, and Data Analytics for Internal Security.” 2: “Managing Cybercrime for Effective Law Enforcement.” 3: “Emerging Technologies for Internal Security.” 4: “Best Practices in Smart Policing.”
