Motihari | Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha has been awarded with Akhil Bhartiya Kriti Puraskar by Sahitya Akademi, Madhya Pradesh Culture Council. For the calendar year 2020, 13 All India and 15 regional work awards were announced by Sahitya Academy. Under this Akhil Bhartiya Purashkar, Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha will also get a prize money of one lakh rupees. The award has been given to Dr. Jha for his book on Atal Bihari Vajpayee under the title Akhil Bhartiya Vishnu Prabhakar (Lifestory-Biography).

Presently Dr. Jha is working as the Head of the Department of Media Studies, Mahatma Gandhi Central University. Dr. Jha has more than one and a half decade of teaching experience and professional experience of working as executive editor and news coordinator, etc. in various newspapers including Navbharat, Swadesh, Dainik Bhaskar. Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha is an expert in Print Media and Development Communication. Dr. Jha has published more than 40 research papers in reputed peer reviewed journals and presented research papers in 60 seminars/webinars/symposiam and has also published 23 self authored books. In which some are published from important publications including Publications Division, NBT.

Dr. Jha recieved different fellowship from different department

Dr. Jha recieved Rajendra Mathur Fellowship, from Kushabhau Thakre University and Makhanlal Chaturvedi Journalism University, Bhopal. Dr. Jha has also received fellowship from the Ministry of Sanskrit and the Government of India, 2 lakh by the MHRD for education and 5 national level fellowships. As an expert, examiner, evaluator and speaker in various events in various universities of India, Dr. Jha continues to make special contributions.

Dr. Jha has various important roles and responsibilities in various organizations

In the field of journalism, Dr. Jha has written more than 1000 news stories on various subjects, leaving his indelible mark. Presently 4 PhD scholars are doing research under Dr. Jha. While one MPhil scholar has completed his research. Dr. Jha is making significant contributions as a member of the Board of Studies of the Department of Media Studies, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Academic Council of various universities and as a UGC nominated member. Prior to this he has held various important roles and responsibilities in various organizations.
