Sanskar Bharti Bihar is goingng to organize a seminar and Kavi Gosthi on July 29, 2023 in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Government of India, in the auditorium of MS College, Motihari. The theme of the seminar focused on the contribution of Bhojpuri speaking region in the freedom struggle.

The people of Bhojpuri society have a special contribution in the freedom struggle

A meeting was organized at the residence of Dr. Lal Babu, the vice-mayor of the Motihari city, regarding the preparation of the event. Which is presided over by By Professor Arun Kumar, Principal, MS College. During his presidential address, Prof. Kumar said that the people of Bhojpuri society have a special contribution in the freedom struggle. It is important to bring this contribution in front of today’s young generation and society. It may be noted that the contribution of Bhojpuri region in the freedom struggle has been remarkable and commendable. Describing the battle led by Babu Kunwar Singh, Babu Tofa Rai wrote-
Khapp kari asi ghuse lothi gire bhoomi dhapp/Gora Sikh kakat dekhi aayer dahlal nu/Hungry tiger as brave Bhojpuri team/Padat lalkarat har bum bum kart nu. The Amrit Mahotsav of Independence is coming to an end and to make it memorable, this program will be organized in the auditorium of MS College on July 29 to remember and discuss the contribution of Bhojpuri speaking region.

Discussion sessions and Kavi Goshthi will be organized in three sessions

Presenting the outline of the programme, renowned writer and dramatist Diwakar Rai said that the program would be completed in three sessions. The first and second sessions will be the inaugural session and the discussion session respectively. In which the contribution of the people of Bhojpuri community in the Indian freedom struggle will be focused. The third session will be of poetry symposium. Participation certificates will also be given to teachers, researchers, students and intellectuals participating in the seminar.

Principal of Munshi Singh College Prof. Arun Kumar, Deputy Mayor Dr. Lal Babu Prasad, Program Coordinator Diwakar Rai, Dr. Parmatma Kumar Mishra, Alok Chandra (Advocate), Dr. Vinay Kumar Singh and many others were present in the meeting regarding the management of the program.
