Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad started agitation in all the four campuses of Mahatma Gandhi Central University on Friday for the allotment of land by Bihar government for construction of permanent campus of Mahatma Gandhi Central University.
ABVP’s provincial research work co-head Mukesh Kumar said that even after seven years of establishment of the university, the Bihar government has not provided land for the construction of permanent campus, due to which the university is facing lack of infrastructure. Whereas Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s university unit president Mangal Singh said that Nitish Kumar’s anti-education government is blocking the development of education by obstructing the land acquisition of the university. The people of Champaran had agitated for this university, but the Nitish government is playing tricks with the people here.
On the other hand, Department Organization Minister Abhimanyu Kumar said that the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has organized this Sadbuddhi Yatra today, through which Good Governance exposes Kumar’s anti-education work as well as prays for his wisdom so that he can contribute to the development of education. Don’t create hurdles, don’t do any kind of politics in education.

Bihar government should go ahead and work for the permanent campus of the university – Rishabh Raj

Department Co-Convenor Rishabh Raj said that the land of Bihar has always been considered the land of education and knowledge. The land of Champaran made Mohandas Karamchand a Mahatma. On this land, the Bihar government should go ahead and work for the permanent campus of the university. District convenor Sonu Kumar said that God should give wisdom to Nitish Kumar so that he can provide land to the university. I have full faith that Nitish Kumar will also do this work because he has done great things for the development of Bihar and he cannot cheat the people of Motihari like this and he will definitely allot the land to the university.

While Council Secretary Aman Kumar said that due to lack of permanent campus, the teaching and learning work of the university is being conducted in four campuses and the students have to face difficulty in coordination.

Vice President of the council Ashish Kumar said that due to non-availability of common room for girls, they have to face many difficulties. Council Vice President Jayakumar said that the Bihar government is doing a different kind of politics in education and the Education Minister has sat down suppressing the land allotment file. On the other hand, Krishan Kumar, co-convenor of research dimension in the university, said that due to lack of permanent campus of the university, many students do not enroll here and even if they do, they leave midway and go to other universities.

While Sneha Singh, co-secretary of the council in the university, said that there are five campuses of the university, due to which education has become clear. The government makes more promises but the work is less, due to this, the administration remains happy in the papers, while the students are very much troubled by this system, while the university students are also worried about their safety.

Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad started the agitation from Deendayal Upadhyay Parisar and reached to Gandhi Bhawan Parisar. Hundreds of students were present in this agitation.
