Today, on 26 December 2022, a special lecture was organized in the Political Science Department of Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari, theme of the program was Research Methodology (Quotation and Plagiarism).

The inauguration of the special lecture was done under the chairmanship of Dr. Sarita Tiwari, Head of the Department of Political Science. Dr. Sarita Tiwari said that proper care of rules and regulations should be taken by the researcher during his entire research journey. If researchers take a pledge to make their research work value-based, then there is no possibility of taking unethical steps like plagiarism.

Research work is an academic life – Dr. Siddiqui

The main speaker of the program, Dr. Jamal Ahmed Siddiqui, co-librarian of Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh Central Library of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut told in his lecture that how researchers can avoid plagiarism in their research work and can do a good research work which will prove to be helpful in the progress of the society and the nation. Dr. Siddiqui highlighted various points to protect the researchers from plagiarism and mainly emphasized on the honesty of the researcher during research. Addressing the researchers and students in his lecture, Dr. Siddiqui said that research work is an academic life.

Researchers should take care of moral values in their research work – Sunil Mahavar

Professor Sunil Mahavar, Dean, Department of Political Science said that researchers should take care of moral values in their research work and should not commit plagiarism in their research. The lecture was organized under the direction of Dr. Narendra Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, Mahatma Gandhi Central University. Dr. Singh said that organizing such special lectures is very important for the academic development of the students and to make the research work of the researchers successful. Through this, students can avoid unethical practices in their research work. The program was conducted by Manoj Kumar Chaudhary. Nikhil, Gaurav, Sandeep, Pooja, Shivam, Sujit, Kaushal, Afsana, and all researchers and students were present in the program.
