A special lecture on ‘Practical Dimensions of Digital Media’ was organized at the Department of Media Studies, Mahatma Gandhi Central University on November 6, 2023. The keynote speaker of the program was digital media expert Mr. Rajesh Kumar Ojha. The program was presided over by Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha, Head of the Department, Media Studies. Coordination was done by Dr. Parmatma Kumar Mishra, Assistant Professor of the Department.

In the welcome and presidential address, Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha, while discussing the journalistic achievements of Shri Ojha, said that today the attention of the audience has been attracted from electronic media to YouTube. Dr. Jha said that digital media is becoming enriched with new technological developments every day and has made its place as an effective medium.
The future of digital media is bright
Keynote speaker Rajesh Kumar Ojha informed the students about various aspects of digital media and said that the future of digital media is bright. Digital media is fast in transmission and presentation of information, ideas and entertainment. We also need to be careful in presenting content and facts through digital media. It is important to pay attention to check and recheck the presentation of news.
