On 161st birth anniversary of Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya, a Seminar was organized at Department of Commerce, Mahatma Gandhi Central University. In Which Dr. Abhay Vikram Singh, Asst. Professor, Department of Gandhian and Peace Studies, Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha, Head of the Department of Media Studies were the chef speaker of the program. The Program was Chaired by Prof. Shirish Mishra, Dean, School of Management. While the program was coordinated by Dr. Kamlesh Kumar, Assistant Professor Commerce and Dr. Sapna Sugandha, Associate Professor, Department of Management did the vote of thanks.

Highlighting the personality and work of Mahamana, the chief speaker Dr. Abhay Vikram Singh said that Mahamana has done a lot of work for nation building in the form of journalism and social reformer, and asked to follow his footsteps. Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha, Head of the Department of Media Studies, threw light on his personality and India building works and from his journalistic life to social reform and inspired the students to learn from him. He said that today’s media should learn from the journalism of newspapers like Leader, Abhyudaya, Hindusthan.

Dean of the Faculty of School of Management Prof. Shirish Mishra said that we all should learn from Mahamana’s sacrifice. He said that management students should take inspiration from Pandit ji about the methods of management. He told many inspiring incidents to the students through many untouched aspects of Mahamana. Teachers, research scholars and students of the Department of Management and Commerce were present in the programme.
