Motihari | Under the aegis of Internal Grievance Cell, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bihar, a speech competition was organized on the topic “Why gender sensitivity is necessary in the society”. According to the instructions of the UGC, “Women’s Fortnight” is being organized in the university campus from 25/11/2022 to 10/12/2022. The program organized under the guidance of Prof. Anand Prakash (Vice-Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bihar)
The concept of a healthy nation from a healthy society is possible only through creation – Prof. Majumdar
The program was chaired by Prof. Arttraan Pal (Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences). While giving the presidential speech, Prof. Pal said that respect for each other as human beings is an essential condition of being a human. MGCU is determined to eliminate all kinds of social disorganization and build a healthy campus. Convener of the “Women Pakhwada” series, Prof. Shahana Mazumdar (Principal Officer, Internal Grievance Cell) welcomed everyone. While giving the welcome address, Prof. Majumdar said that creation is at the root of the creation of the universe. The concept of a healthy nation from a healthy society is possible only through creation. We have to accept and save the identity of our human being by coming out of the dress of man and woman.
Students and research scholars participated actively in the program
Students and research scholars from various departments of the university take part in the program. The presentations were evaluated by Dr. Garima Tiwari (Assistant Professor, Hindi), Dr. Shweta, (Assistant Professor Sociology) and Dr. Alka Lalan, (Assistant Professor, Management Science). Shabnam Kumari, Gender Champion, Baikunth Kumar Yadav, Gender Champion, Vijay Shankar Chowdhary, Gender Champion and Rashmi Singh, Gender Champion actively participated in organizing the event.
