Professor Shahana Majumdar, Department of Botany, Mahatma Gandhi Central University, referenced ancient scriptures like Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Vedas to shed light on pre-Vedic, Vedic, and historical water conservation methods. She emphasized the urgent need for water conservation, especially in Bihar.
Sanjay Swami, National Coordinator for Environmental Education at the Education Culture Upliftment Foundation, New Delhi, emphasized the significance of water harvesting and conservation in both rural and urban areas. He stressed the need to address pollution in religious sites and rivers.

Professor Pranavir Singh highlighted the importance of raising awareness about water conservation methods.
Dr. Dayanand Mehta, State Coordinator for North Bihar, Dr. Atul Bhargav, researchers, and students were present.
The symposium aimed to raise awareness about water conservation and showcased ancient and modern techniques for sustainable water management.
